Ashan holds diversified and extensive working experience in the Media, Non- Governmental, Social Development and Private Sectors. He has worked in senior management positions for UNESCO, USAID, Development Alternative Inc., MAS Holdings, and has spent considerable time in Israel and Japan as part of his work. He holds a Master of Arts in Peace & Conflict from the University of New South Wales, Australia and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relationships from Lycoming College, USA.
