Has experience and in-depth knowledge of accounting, operations management, general management, strategic planning, risk management and risk mitigation. Commenced career at MB Financial Services (Pvt) Ltd – a pioneer in the Non-Bank Primary Dealerships. Experienced in the Garment Manufacturing Trade at Jewelknit – a subsidiary of MAST Industries USA and Lancashire Limited – a Hong Kong-based buying office cum Sri Lankan based Garment Factory. Appointed as the Finance Director to the main board of ASCOT Holdings PLC in 2005 – a company listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange engaged in investments. Chairs the Audit Committee and the related party transactions review committee of the company and is a member of the Remuneration Committee. Appointed to the main board of Multi Finance Plc, a non-Bank financial institute listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange in 2017. Also chairs the Audit Committee of the Fairway Group since 2015.
