Ediriweera has over 35 years extensive experience in Engineering, Policy and Strategy formulation, Project formulation and Stake holder relationship building, covering urban,
rural and community water supply and sanitation sectors. He has started his carrier at Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) and worked in senior management positions at National
Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB). He has a well proven career record coordinating with different ministries, funding agencies, diplomatic missions, international contractors and consultants. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, Master degrees in Water Management from Germany and Development Studies from Sri Lanka.
He is a Chartered Engineer and is a Fellow Member of Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL).
