Ashan brings 25 years of diverse and extensive experience across the media, non-governmental, social development, and private sectors. He has held senior management positions at UNESCO, Development Alternatives Inc., and MAS Holdings, contributing to impactful initiatives in various industries.
Academically, Ashan holds a Master of Arts in Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Lycoming College, USA.
Recognized for his contributions, he is a recipient of Sri Lanka’s Outstanding Young Person Award (TOYP) and serves as a Founder Trustee of both the Foundation of Goodness and the Malalasekera Foundation.
